At Wetherby Electric Gates
Prestige, added value, confident ease of use, safety, privacy, and enhanced security are all important considerations when investing in an automated electric gate project.
At Wetherby Electric Gates Automation Ltd, we supply, install and maintain automated electric gate systems, aluminium automated electric gate systems and intercom systems in Wetherby, Harrogate, York, Leeds, Ripon and surrounding areas of North Yorkshire.
All our aluminium electric gate installations are conducted by our team and come fully warranted for at least two years.
Our aluminium electric gates also feature a 10-year anti-fade manufacturer’s warranty on their surface finishes. On receipt of your first instalment, all site surveys, cabling requirements and cabling routes, as well as all site and civil considerations, will be our responsibility. Additionally, all your specific automated electric gate equipment will be secured and allotted to your project for your complete peace of mind.
All pricing is valid for seven days (unless otherwise stated) from the date of the quotation being issued. The final instalment is payable within seven days of invoicing after the project is installed, commissioned and handed over to the client. All automated electric gate components have a full manufacturer’s warranty running from the date of handover to the client.

Things to Consider When Planning Your Automated Electric Gate Project
Planning Consent - Certain planning factors may preclude your exact automated electric gate requirements from being met. We strongly recommend all clients conduct due diligence regarding planning regulations and building control with regards to your automated electric gate project. Most local planning departments have a fee-based ‘feasibility’ enquiry form with fast response times.
Environmental Factors - Certain driveways and existing automated electric gate geometry are wholly unsuited to automation. Steep-sloping driveways, inherent factors such as width, strong prevailing winds, poorly drained ground, mobile phone signal and access to mains power will all have an impact on automated electric gate design and installation. Additionally, all automated electric gate cabling is generally best installed before any finished driveways treatment is applied. Any existing gates that are out of square/level, bind or rise on the hinges will increase wear and shorten the lifespan of all automated electric gate components.
These factors are best designed out of your automated electric gate project at the earliest point.
